AUTHOR GUIDELINES

Authors should follow the below guidelines:

Authors should submit the manuscript that have been carefully proof read and polished. Authors are required to refer the Applied Economics Journal manuscript template. This will ensure fast processing and publication. Acceptance or rejection notification will be sent to all authors through e-mail.

• Manuscript must be original and should not have been published previously anywhere.

• Authors should follow the Manuscript format.

• The manuscript must be written in English using MS-Word (doc or docx format only).

• Only "Times New Roman" font should be used.

• Maximum number of authors is five.

• Keywords must be included in the abstract.

• Authors are required to sign the copyright transfer form once the manuscript is accepted.

PROCESSING CHARGES

Asian Economies charges a flat Article Processing Charge (APC) of US$40 for accepted manuscripts.

The APC is payable only after the manuscript has been accepted for publication and before publication.

The APC is a publication/processing charge and does not constitute a fee for Open Access.

The APC covers:

• Peer-review and editorial processing

• Manuscript handling and administrative processing

• Article formatting and publication

• Online hosting and maintenance of the published article

• DOI assignment and related publication services

• Other costs associated with the publication and dissemination of the article

Editorial Independence

• The decision to accept or reject a manuscript is based solely on the quality and scholarly merit of the submission.

• Manuscripts are evaluated on factors including originality, relevance, methodological rigor, quality of analysis, clarity of presentation, and contribution to the existing body of knowledge.
